Motorola and Boost Mobile have announced the Motorola Debut i856 slider phone, a push-to-talk iDEN device. The device looks on par with Boost's Moto Clutch i465 iDEN phone that featured a full-QWERTY keyboard. The i856 instead offers a hidden T9 numeric keypad and a slightly larger 2.2-inch 176 x 220 pixel resolution TFT display. With the Debut, users can take advantage of its many communication features, including the ability to talk to up to 20 friends at one time, converse by threaded text messages, send MMS, and check on email. It includes GPS technology and users are able to browse the web, as well.
