The Spice XT300 will launch with the Android OS version 2.1, otherwise known as Éclair, which is one step behind the current FroYo version. This shouldn’t affect users too much, unless you particularly need the features that Android 2.2 offers, as the handset comes with the proprietary Motorola user interface, MotoBlur. MotoBlur looks to provide users with a graphically pleasing UI, with the option to integrate updates from a wide variety of web services onto the main homescreen, providing quick and easy access to all the news, updates and postings from favourite sites and social networks.
