LG has launched two new cell phones in its Android operating system series, LG Thrive and LG Phoenix. The LG Phoenix is available for AT & T network. 600 MHz ARM 11 processor, Adreno 200 GPU and Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset make it a powerful and hi- speed cell phone.
It is a quadband GSM phone which also works on 3G HSDPA network. It has a brilliant 3.2 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen display which supports up to 256k colors. There is a feature of Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate in its display. Its phonebook has practically unlimited entries storage with photocall facility.
It has 160 MB internal memory and it can be upgraded up to 32GB with its microSD card slot. The Phoenix supports GPRS, EDGE and 3G(up to 7.2 mbps) for internet connectivity. The cell phone has also Wi- Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. It has an inbuilt 3.15 mega pixel camera with Geo tagging, autofocus and video recording.
It has inbuilt HTML browser, FM radio, Audio and Video players. It has A-GPS support also. This LG cell phone comes with features like Java MIDP emulator, Social networking integration, Document viewer, Organizer, Voice memo and much more.
