It runs version 3.5a of Sense -- the same as in the Rhythm, which HTC describes as having been "decluttered" from previous versions. Customer feedback, apparently, was that people like to actually be able to see their wallpaper -- rather than just a grid of icons. The Android version is Gingerbread 2.3.5. Using the device, it's clear that HTC'S taken this "simplification" principle to heart. BlackBerry Tour runs on the carrier's respective EV-DO Rev. A 3G networks domestically and offers 3G UMTS/HSPA (2100Mhz) and quad-band (GSM 850/900/1800/1900; GPRS/EDGE) support, so you can get voice and data coverage while traveling outside of North America.
